Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, with a commitment to improving patient outcomes through holistic and personalized care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to IBS, GERD, Crohn's disease, and liver disorders.
  • Provide expert care with a focus on lifestyle and functional medicine, incorporating evidence-based approaches to improve overall patient wellness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Engage in patient education, promoting healthy lifestyle changes and preventive care.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of clinical protocols and contribute to practice growth.


Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Proven experience in lifestyle medicine, obesity medicine, and functional medicine is strongly preferred.
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of Texas or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, with a focus on gastroenterology.

  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
